Deborah Lavinsky

   
Deborah has over three decades of experience in the financial, educational, and philanthropic worlds. A native of Ohio, Deborah received her Bachelor of Music Performance in Flute degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Currently, Deborah is Immediate Past President of the Phoenix Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants, a Board Director and Chair of the Planned Giving Committee for Interfaith Cooperative Ministries, and a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a graduate of Leadership Akron Class XVI, past-president of the Fairlawn Area Chamber of Commerce and the 2002 Imanuel Isroff Young Leadership Award winner. Deborah has been published on the topics of financial planning, long term care insurance and planning, and annuities. She has been quoted in local and national publications, has been a guest on radio talk shows, has presented numerous webcasts for major financial organizations and has spoken at national accounting conferences. Deborah enjoys playing flute, golf and knitting. She is married with two grown children.

Keri Mahoney

 

A more than ten-year veteran of sales and marketing for the restaurant industry, Keri Mahoney currently works at The Capital Grille in Phoenix, as their Sales and Marketing Manager. In her role, she is responsible for working with the community to increase awareness of the restaurant and to drive guests to the Biltmore Fashion Park location. She is at the forefront in the development and execution of all local marketing efforts.

Keri is no stranger to working with restaurants within the Camelback corridor. Her previous jobs in the area have included Sam’s Café Restaurants where she was the Event Coordinator for all three locations in the valley, and she has also served as the Sales and Marketing Manager at Morton’s of Chicago Restaurant in Phoenix. Currently in her sixth year at The Capital Grille, she won “Rookie of the Year” in 2003 and added on to her job responsibilities as a Field Trainer for the company in 2008.

Keri is an honors graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Tourism Management with an emphasis in special event planning. She is an active member of the Biltmore Area Partnership, Women of Scottsdale and Central Phoenix Women Organizations, and looks forward to being apart of the National Bank of Arizona’s 2009 Financial Advisory Council. She is also committed to giving back to the community, as she has served on the Key to the Cure board in 2007/08, the Holiday Prelude committee in 2008 supporting the local arts, Oscar Night America in 2009 supporting the Arthritis Foundation, and has been a “big sister” for the Big Brother Big Sister Organization for over two years. In 2009 she was nominated as one of the valleys AZ’s FINEST. This group of 20 single women and men is designed to spotlight Arizona’s most influential trendsetters, honoring their professional and charitable accomplishments. All their fundraising efforts during their term will help benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Arizona Chapter.

Keri lives in central Phoenix and enjoys hiking with her two dogs, hot yoga, food and wine, and listening to good music. Her new adventures in life are traveling with friends and family and learning how to play golf. She is hoping one day to find her swing.

Kate Seastone

 

Kate is a trusted advisor who helps her clients to create economic confidence while simplifying their financial lives. Her approach is holistic and uses a guided educational process to create their masterpiece financial life. She then assists in the implementation, monitoring and continual improvement as life develops. A frequent presenter, Kate enjoys the peace of mind she provides her clients.

Background: Kate began her career in the technology field as a computer programmer but quickly found her passion to be in creating optimal performance. Ms Seastone worked for several years as a specialist in turning around the performance of companies and helping them to put in place higher quality and customer focused processes. Her roles involved companies such as GTE Communications, Bearing Point (KPMG Peat Marwick), EDS, Ingram Micro, Pearson, Mercedes, Medtronic, and others.

In search for a use of her talents and desire to have a deeper direct relationship with the people she worked with, five years ago Kate began assisting people with turning around their financial lives and she hasn't looked back.

Activities: Ms Seastone is an actively involved with Gabriel's Angels, the John C Lincoln Guild, Central Phoenix Women, the Desert Botanical Planned Giving committee, The Valley of the Sun YMCA Heritage Club and Jumping Chollas (dog agility).
Licensing: Ms. Seastone holds the licenses for and is accredited as an Investment Advisor Representative, a Registered Representative, a licensed Life and Disability Insurance professional, a Registered Financial Planner (RFP) and a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP). She is currently a candidate for her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

Lisa E. Platt

 

Lisa E. Platt, an event management specialist and owner of The Platt Company, works with small organizations and busy professionals. Lisa specializes in helping clients with data base management, research, coordinating event details from invitations to registration, and other business projects.

Lisa recently earned her Distinguished Toastmaster Award and believes in giving back to her community. Previously, Lisa has volunteered for Friends of CASS, the auxiliary group for Central Arizona Shelter Services, Toastmasters International and soon will be volunteering for the American Medical College of Homeopathy.
