Lin relocated to
Phoenix in mid-2004 from Boston where she spent the majority of her career
in high tech sales, marketing and business development management roles.
In her current role as Director of Advertising Sales at the Phoenix
Business Journal, Lin is a key member of the paper’s management team and
responsible for maintaining client relationships, growing revenue, and
managing the sales side of the business. She is responsible for
maintaining the yearly advertising sales budget and ensuring on-target
performance in all areas related to the newspaper’s clientele, revenue,
and maintaining an efficient and profitable sales operation.
Prior to joining the Business Journal in January, 2005, Lin was the Vice
President of Operations for Impole Corporation in Waltham, Massachusetts,
a leading provider of primary intelligence, market research, and
outsourced sales and marketing centers. Her assignments prior to Impole
Corporation, and throughout her 28 year career, include senior sales and
marketing management roles at a number of leading software firms and
computer manufacturers in the country.
Lin received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the State University of
New York, Fredonia, NY and studied briefly at the University of London,
Kings College, London, England through a scholarship and honors exchange
program. She is active in children’s reading programs throughout the
valley, is a member of the Casa Choir at the Franciscan Renewal Center,
has participated for the past two years in the Arizona Department of
Education’s Principal for a Day program, and volunteers for other
charitable organizations. She lives with her life partner, Larry
Kammerzell, in north central Phoenix and has a passion for the culinary
arts.
