Ginger Lamb is vice president and publisher of Arizona News Service and Arizona Capitol Times, part of The Dolan Company. As publisher, she is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Arizona Capitol Times – an award-winning weekly newspaper that covers Arizona politics and azcapitoltimes.com. She also oversees Arizona News Service which includes the Arizona Legislative Report, a daily report delivered during session that chronicles developments at the Legislature; the Yellow Sheet Report at yellowsheetreport.com, an insider tip sheet; and Legislation On-Line Arizona, an online legislative bill tracking service also known as LOLA. Arizona News Service also produces three events – including Leaders of the Year in Public Policy, a luncheon and awards presentation; Best of the Capitol cocktail party and the Morning Scoop bi-monthly breakfast forums. Other publications produced by ANS include the Government Resource Directory, Book of Lobbyists and Government Liaisons, Citizen Government Guide, Arizona Property Taxes, How A Bill Becomes a Law, Times Past, the Green Book Guide to the Legislature and many other products for the Capitol community.

Prior to joining Arizona Capitol Times, Ginger was the vice president and publisher of The Daily Record in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Brockport with a degree in communications with emphasis on journalism. Her background includes more than 22 years of experience in the media – having worked as a reporter and editor at weekly and daily newspapers, and as an anchor and reporter for several news talk radio stations in New York State.

She is a member of Phoenix Rotary 100, Arizona State Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Board of Directors, the Arizona Newspapers Association’s Board of Directors, the American Court & Commercial Newspaper Association’s Board of Directors, the Arizona Trustee Association’s Board of Directors, NAWBO Phoenix Board of Directors and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism Endowment Board. She is also president-elect of the Arizona Newspapers Association and co-chair of its Legislative Committee and director of NAWBO’s Public Affairs Committee.

A native of Barker, New York, Ginger moved to Phoenix in 2005 with her husband Dave, who is a designer with Michael Baker Engineers. Ginger and Dave have been married for 21 years, are both avid golfers and have a Sheltie named Chip.
