Colette Kamps is a
Senior Manager in the not-for-profit niche at Henry & Horne, LLP. She
specializes in audits, preparation of Forms 990, and consulting for
not-for-profit organizations.
Colette has been working with not-for-profit organizations in public
accounting for 14 years. She has experience with a variety of types of
not-for-profit organizations including social services, arts and cultural,
membership associations, schools, foundations, health care and religious
organizations. She also has experience with Single Audits. Prior to public
accounting, Colette also had six years of accounting experience with
private industries.
Colette is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public
Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
She demonstrates her commitment to bettering her community by serving on
the Audit Committee for the Arizona Cactus Pine Girl Scouts and by
volunteering to perform CPA reviews for the Valley of the Sun United Way.
In the past, she has served on the boards for Downtown Urban Community
Kids and Golden Gate Community Center. She also serves on the Audit and
Accounting committee for Henry & Horne, LLP.
Colette graduated with Honors from St. Norbert College in Green Bay
Wisconsin in 1990 with a degree in Mathematics and from Arizona State
University West with a Post Baccalaureate Certificate of Accountancy
Degree in 1997.
