Ms. Smith focuses her practice on public finance, including tax-exempt bonds, revenue obligations, leasing and other types of financing for cities, towns, community colleges and school districts. She has also represented cities, towns and school districts in the issuance of bonds and other debt obligations under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (“ARRA”) and the Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment Act (“HIRE Act”). She represented the Town of Oro Valley in the issuance of one of the first publicly offered New Clean Renewable Energy Bonds in the State of Arizona.

Ms. Smith also practices in municipal law, including drafting multi-agency agreements, ordinances, resolutions, policies, deeds, leases and contracts for cities, towns and governmental agencies.
