Sharon Levinson is a volunteer with the non-profit Careers through Culinary Arts Program [C-CAP]. The program provides scholarship to high school students from over 60 Arizona schools who compete to continue their culinary training. Scholarships are generally for students to go to local community colleges; however, several scholarships are given for 4-year Bachelor degree programs. Previously Ms. Levinson was a consultant to several states on public policy issues. She worked with a private company implementing welfare reform in AZ and WI. Ms. Levinson worked in federal service for 23 years and for Los Angeles County child welfare and assistance programs after graduating from Cal-State University at Los Angeles.
