Deborah Bateman is Executive Vice President and Director of Sales and Service reporting to NBA’s President and Chief Executive Officer. She also serves on the Management Board Executive Committee.

In this role, Ms. Bateman develops, implements and monitors NBA’s sales and service functions. She is responsible for NBA’s Treasury Management, Executive Banking, Business Banking and Marketing Functions.

Ms. Bateman has more than 35 years of banking experience, most recently as senior vice president at JP Morgan Chase in New York, Chicago and Phoenix. During her ten-year tenure, Ms. Bateman directed customer service strategies and helped manage the institution’s merger with Bank One.

Prior to her work with JP Morgan Chase, Ms. Bateman served as senior vice president at Caliber Bank in Phoenix and directed The Bateman Group, a consulting firm specializing in providing support services to community banks.

Ms. Bateman is a member of the Board of Directors of:
- The Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington in Seattle,
- ACH Division of The National Clearing House / NCHA,
And on the local Advisory Committee of LISC Phoenix.

She holds an associate’s degree from Mesa Community College and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington in Seattle.
