Jennifer Dioguardi
is a Partner in the Commercial Litigation practice group in the Phoenix
office of Snell & Wilmer, LLP where she focuses her practice on complex
commercial litigation with an emphasis on banking and securities
litigation, derivative litigation, NASD/FINRA arbitration proceedings,
internal investigations, consumer financial services litigation including
Truth in Lending Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act issues and class action
litigation.
Jennifer’s securities litigation and NASD practice includes representing a
number of financial institutions, including retail and investment banks,
commercial lenders, underwriters, broker-dealers, investment advisors and
privately-held companies in federal court, state court, and SRO
arbitrations. Jennifer has represented such clients in matters involving
claims for violations of federal and state registration and securities
fraud statutes, unsuitability, selling-away, churning, unauthorized
trading and failure to supervise.
Jennifer’s financial services litigation practice includes the
representation of national and local banks, merchant processing and
service organizations, credit card issuers, mortgage lenders, automobile
finance servicing organizations and securities broker-dealers in matters
throughout the West.
Jennifer also serves as the Hiring Partner at Snell & Wilmer and is
responsible for attorney hiring in all six of the firm’s office throughout
the Western United States. Jennifer was also involved in the creation and
continued implementation of the Mary Leader – Women in Leadership program
at Snell & Wilmer which is named in honor of the firm’s first female
partner and recognizes the development of leadership skills in the firm’s
female attorneys.
Jennifer is actively involved with the American Bar Association (ABA) and
has served as the Editor of the “Woman Advocate” Newsletter which is a
national newsletter that is published quarterly. She was honored by the
ABA with the 2005 Outstanding Newsletter Editor Award.
Jennifer has also served as a member of the City of Phoenix -- Encanto
Village Planning Committee (2003- present); Arizona Theatre Company, Board
of Trustees (2005-2007); Herberger Theater Center, Board of Directors
(2006-2008); Friends of the Phoenix Public Library – Dinner in the Stacks
Planning Committee (2004) and has volunteered at the Arizonan’s for
Children Visitation Center.
Jennifer and her husband, Mark Dioguardi (founding partner of the law firm
of Dioguardi Flynn Jones, LLP), were named one of “AZ’s Up and Coming
Couples” by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and were honored at a dinner to
benefit the charity. The Dioguardis are both also very involved in
supporting Arizona Public Radio where Mark is currently serving as a
Member of its Board of Directors.
The Dioguardis are also founding shareholders of West Valley National
Bank, N.A. which has branches in Avondale and Buckeye and Loan Production
Offices in Goodyear and Scottsdale.
Jennifer is an avid runner and, along with her husband, enjoys eating very
good food, traveling, and the company of their cats (who are sisters)
Sasha and Sweet Pea. |
