In April 2009,
Rhonda Forsyth became the fourth president and CEO in the 82-year history
of John C. Lincoln Health Network.
Forsyth’s
inauguration as top JCLHN administrator follows her recognition as the
Valley’s 2009 Business Woman of the Year. Selected from 25 peers, she was
first in the program’s history to be singled out for top honors.
Driven by her compassion for people, Rhonda has devoted her career to
improving the quality of health care, human services and business
practices provided by John C. Lincoln’s Hospitals, ancillary medical
facilities and community programs.
Through much of her
tenure at John C. Lincoln, she was responsible for leading managed care
and revenue cycle operations. She saw the Network through expansions at
both hospitals. She also served as CEO for each of the John C. Lincoln
Hospitals before becoming executive vice president and chief operating
officer for the Network.
She has more than 25 years of experience in health care administration,
and holds a Master of Science in business administration from Arizona
State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Pitzer College. She has
served a variety of business, arts and community organizations including
the Phoenix Boys Choir, the Better Business Bureau and the American Cancer
Society.
Under her
leadership, the Network achieved a number of accomplishments:

North Mountain Hospital is the first area hospital to be redesignated as
a Magnet by the American Nurses Association, an honor accorded only the
top 2 percent of the nation’s hospitals for excellence in nursing care.

Deer Valley Hospital was honored with the Arizona State Quality
Alliance’s Pioneer Award for high performance excellence throughout the
hospital.

Solucient Top 100 Hospital.

in Business Award in the large business category.

Great Place to Work in Arizona in a “Fortune” magazine ranking of the
