Tracy L. Penwell grew up in Durango Colorado. She holds a BSBA from the University of Phoenix, a Master in International Management from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management, and doctoral level training at New York University in econometric modeling and risk analysis. While working in New York she developed a specialization in credit and financial risk management, holding posts with Chase Manhattan Bank, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and the Government Securities Clearing Corporation. After completing “The Credit Process, A Guide for Small Business Owners” for the Federal Reserve (http://www.ny.frb.org/education/addpub/credit.html) she became interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial venture herself, and in 2000 left an 18 year career in financial services to move to Scottsdale and start Rima Fine Art.
Rima Fine Art is now a perennial favorite on Scottsdale's world-renowned "gallery row" with eclectic art collection and cast of industry veterans dedicated to servicing the needs of seasoned collector or first-time art buyer.
