August: Summer Festival of Hats

Perhaps the most anticipated event of the season, the Summer Festival of Hats returns for its seventh year. It's nearly as spectacular as making an appearance at Ascot. From pill box to sweeping brim, the hats are as varied as the teas. Perhaps the most anticipated event of the season, the Summer Festival of Hats returns for its seventh year.   Served Tuesday through Saturday with seating available at noon and 3:00 p.m., it is nearly as spectacular as making an appearance at Ascot.   From pill box to sweeping brim, the hats are as varied as the teas.   Each week three finalists are selected in each of the following categories:

  • Take Me To the Races — The grandest derby hat

  • Wow! That is quite something — The most outrageous ... yet still stunning.

  • The Ritz-Carlton Award — Classic elegance and accessories.

The finalist and a guest are treated to an exquisite champagne tea on Sunday, September 2 where the socializing nearly supersedes the tea service.

For more information and reservations, please call 602-468-0700.
